COL-BAL Re-Trade
#1
:COL: Gets:
LF Brian Ward 58/85 (Age 19) - $Draft Day

:BAL: Gets:
SP Keith George 83 (Age 29) - $7.5M thru '26
$6 Million
----------

This should be fine compensation. I no longer get cash with Ward. He gets a net of $4M to help cover George's cost. In regards to the other thread, again I'll say there's no way George is a complete salary dump.

In COL: 0.83 HR/9, 3.15 BB/9, 7.12 K/9, and .227 OBA. Judging from his ERA and DICE it looks like luck just wasn't on his side this season while the peripheral numbers were just fine.

Or you could just acknowledge that you ripped off a newb and aren't happy you didn't get away with it.

I'll ask the same here as I did in another thread. What exactly is Baltimore doing?

Well, that would be a lie, so I won't say that. I did originally get a better deal than I probably should have. But acting like George is an incompetent pitcher holds no truth.

A GM asks about a player and I'm going see what they'll give for them. This doesn't set Baltimore back any. He's got more promising COF prospects and if he can continue to make some moves George will be around next season to potentially help him compete.
