COL accepts. Willing to take on a bad contract for an infusion of youth into COL. I'm not sure that Hessenauer will be more than a fill-in due to injury from time to time, but I really like Simons, and the versatility of Koonce is intriguing. The other 2 are wild cards, but could develop into something, and it's not like I'm short on cash, so I'll see what happens.

i accept. this deal is just salary relief for me. it stings to deal simons, because he only lost 2 peak points on his past birthday, and vitals are above his overall and plenty of time to keep developing, so that could def sting for me. koonce is very young and intriguing and one of those pitchers could potentially turn into a solid reliever for rockies. all in all i think we both got what we wanted from this trade.
