I'm a huge believer in Laverty's eye and power and being a 3B. Another young piece added to the mix in for the Mets. Busques is quite good, but I think Laverty will be more valuable long term. I think Wilkinson could be good too.

Texas accepts.

We solve several issues:

Needed a left handed bat in the middle our lineup and
Busques will surely solve that issue. I do have faith that his
upside will be worth the cost.

Honrigan is a defensive upgrade that was parked in the
Mets' system. We can give him a job now.

Montano and Taylor are attractive pieces for us and will cause some
dead weight to be jettisoned out.
