ATL/DET
#1
Atl get:

Jeff Trembath SP 95 $21M through 35'
Jim Cote SP 92 $20M through 35' (player excised option)
J.C. Phair C 74/88 arby 36'

Det get:

Alberto Gonzacez SP 84/93 arby 36'
James Faller OF 66/91 arby 36'
Scott Lemons SP 60/93 arby 36'
Jordan Bullock SP 51/87 arby 36'
Danny Weber OF 63/83 arby 36'
10M cash

** Trembath NTC buyout= 8.4M, paid buy ATL

ATL accepts. I'm sure this trade will cause quite a stir so let me break down this trade the best i can and also my thinking on this. Gonzacez, Faller, Lemons and Bullock for Trembath and Phair is the basis of this trade. 10M and Weber for Cote is the other half. With the recent deal with CIN, i have a TON of young pitching which allows me to deal some of my young pitching and let Trembath follow me to ATL. Trembath has proven in DET he is a legit ace, and at only 31, i feel he has plenty of years ahead of him. Yes, I'm trading a lot, but everything i'm dealing is from an area of strength. You may ask why ATL would need/want Trembath. Pitching wins in this league. Trust me, i've tried for years in DET to out hit everyone with limited success. Now that i'm in ATL, i will build this team on strong pitching as the basis of this team. While I dont think i should have to explain it this much, i know this will leave people asking questions, so, there ya go.

i just love this trade going forward, Gonzacez should develop well into an ace, Bullock and Lemons are both future aces, Faller can be a stud middle of the order bat and the same can be said for Weber, cash comes in and the fact i drop a swift 41M per year is going to play well for me when it comes to free agency

detroit accepts

Whichever team is in current possession of the NTC contract must pay for the 20% buyout. New GMs inheriting contracts are excluded

Stache is a new GM

Stache is a new GM

Though he's not a new GM since he took over as co-GM mid-season he's probably still within the timeframe that an inherited contract would qualify.

But he's a new full time gm. He never even posted a lineup when he was co-gm

I approve if the money thing gets worked out. Obviously if the money thing becomes an issue I will remove my approval. Just not sure what to do here...

...There's not a money issue...

The contract still qualifies as an inherited deal for stache.
