I'm a bit baffled by this as well.
Why'd you send both of these guys out for just 10M without at least advertising your need? You guys are both vet GMs and I don't think I'll veto, but this is a real head scratcher.

I'll approve because of Washington's budget situation, but other than that it doesn't make any sense. Sather is probably overrated, but is still under team control through next season and is a decent #5 option.

I contacted multiple GMs to move Sather and Bunning. Everyone was lowballing and not willing to take a risk on Bunning because of a torn rotaror cuff, when anyone looks at my team they are fixated on Santos and no one else. So I took the best available trade. Even though I'm trailing I still have a shot at the WC. I really didn't want to move Sather but I lower my payroll by 10M and decrease the rate at which my cash is depleted and ultimately leave me with a positive cash amount by the end of the season. In which I will be looking to sign Macies to a long term deal and with the way he's pitching I'm sure it'll be in the 15M+ range. Sather was basically going to be let go and he wasn't doing well for me this season and with Uro I can have him replace Desdin who got injured and hopefully remain competitive.
