SP Brent Cook 93 (Age 25) - $7.9M thru 2025
RP Edmund Poez 93 (Age 24) - $12.5M thru 2025

:MIL: Gets:
1B Charles Bickford 88/93 (Age 23) - $Draft Day
RP Paul Landreau 78/88 (Age 23) - $Draft Day
RP Ruben MacChelry 67/86 (Age 21) - $Draft Day
----------

It hurts losing Bickford, he looks right on line for another Mike Chitty. Landreau was to be my closer of the future, but with Poez is eases losing him. Even though Cook hasn't lived up to the potential yet, he still has the tools to succeed.

Brewers accept. We make this move for a few reasons, many of them financial. The reason we move Poez is because my owner about crapped his pants when he saw how much he was asking for (I had to negotiate him down 6 million just to get down to the current $12.5m figure). We get two RPs that we like, especially Landreau's vitals as a future closer. Get Bickford to shore up defense and bring a big bat into the lineup, move Cook which is someone we will have to replace, but he is a few years older than the rest of my rotation and was nearing a bigger payday as well. Matt and I both agreed that Cook did not quite have the vitals to match his overall rating.
