Sad to lose Gibson since he is lighting it up with 5-1 1.63 era this year but i cant affored his contract. i have to give up a real good spec too in Witton but get 2 young players in the deal too

Moving Kemp allows me to add a better bat onto the bench. I don't like knowing that I'm spending 13M on a guy to play in my minors. Gibson is a helluva contract but the 12M via Kemp and the 2M in cash negates it to abouta 3M lose.

Gibson get's thrust into the 2 spot allowing Barnese to slip to a more natural 3. Tobio will probably be sent to the BP b/c I want a lefty in martin in the lineup and 13M for a MR just seems dumb. Dye could possibly make it w/ a solid jump as a decent 3B and Witton has CF potential.
