Buyouts are now 90% of the remaining contract. Player options must be bought out if released before the player decides on the option.
50% buyout can be given on inherited contracts as a new GM
50% buyout can be given if the player meets ALL of the following criteria:
-The contract has 2 or fewer years left in the contract.
-The injury was 50 or more days.
-The drop for overall takes the player below 80 overall.
-The drop occurs before he returns from the DL.
