BAL/LAA

:BAL: sends:
Kyle Russell LF 27 87 87 $2.9M 1
Matt Hobgood SP 24 86 86 $500K
3M

:LAA: sends:
Jordan Walden SP 25 88 88 $5.5M 1
Kevin Jepsen RP 81 81 $2.5M 1
Rodger Clayton 1B 17 55 79
Brandon Morrow SP 31 81 81 $8.5M 2

I'm taking Morrow which hurts, and giving up Russell, but Walden's youth and talent can help sustain any loss we might have to the roto this year. Also get Jepsen for the bullpen and a nice young prospect. With signing Welgarz and trading for Tillotson, I felt that Russell's production was soon going to become lacking, and his price tag would soon go up. In the event we can't resign DeVall, Walden is here to help out at a reasonable price. I give Hobgood up yes, but his vitals show he might not keep up his great production for too long, and even tho Walden has a shaky health rating, so does Hobgood. I believe I can find the right replacement for Russell. I'm taking in total $14.1M in salary here AND giving 3M. I think LAA right now looks to be the winner in this deal.

:LAA: accepts.

This trade really helps with my salary problems as I let go of Morrow who really left me mad. The team also has the pitching depth to overcome Walden's loss, I'm also getting a solid, and young SP from Baltimore. I'm also getting some much needed cash, and finally a nice bat in the OF.
