DET - BOS
#1
DET gets:
Nick, Max 23 SP 92 94 $500,000 Arb 66

BOS gets:
Alcocer, Jaime 21 2B/SS 81 92 $47,100 Arb 68
Ascunce, Raul 21 SP 79 91 $32,300 Arb 68
Felt, Clint 19 CF 65 79 $23,500 Arb 68
Neuenhoff, Justin 35 SP 81 81 $8,000,000 1
MacConacher, Tim 33 RP 78 78 $2,500,000 2

One reason I’m dealing a pitcher with Nick’s vitals – health. He’s been hurt three times so far this year after being hurt FIVE times last year. He’s missed approximately six months in a season and 2/3. Bottom line is I can’t count on the guy. Of my top six SPs, only Corporna has a health rating of more than 75. Nick is of no use to me if he can’t get on the field. I'm continually shuffling guys in and out who have two, four, six week injuries.

I’ve picked up some young pitchers in recent deals (Klee, Herrod, Greiner) who make Nick expendable.

The two prospects I’m getting back are, in my opinion, my future shortstop and one of my future SPs, with a health rating of 82. These are two of the three guys who were coming in the original McCluskey trade - they've since jumped. The other three are bit pieces who may help with bullpen injuries, Felt is Felt.
