2054 Opening Day
#2
why do the mets get a comp pick in the 3rd round ahead of the red sox? pick 70 going to the mets and pick 71 going to the red sox. mets got comp for orrego - ss, now with royals at 1 year: $9 million and red sox got comp for trey chilton - sp, with the philies at 1 year: $9 million. chilton is younger and has higher peak. so i'm confused on why the mets picks before red sox?

also in real life mlb, if the team had a lower record that team would get the comp pick ahead of the other. so in this case the mets had 107 wins, while red sox had 80 wins. you can see which team would deserve and need the earlier pick than the other. so in a tie like this where both players sign for identical contracts, i feel this should absolutely be used.

this won't make or break me, but i believe in things making sense, and can't think of any other reason why mets should pick ahead of me.
