I'm not sure on this trade either way. I know cdawg has said he's tried to trade Malone in the past for a great prospect return to no avail. Malone is not mentioned in your latest trade block, in fact his name hasn't even been mentioned in the trade block section since October. I know most people would rather just talk trade in the chat, but the trade block is there for a reason, but listing him on there (asking for PMs on the board w/ interest) definitely show a GM trying to maximize their return for a great player.
I'm not saying you haven't, but the evidence looks like Malone hasn't been shopped to the most effective way. I would rather think he would be shopped on the block and then if by the time spring training comes for us and there's no takers, then giving in on his value would look a lot more suitable.
