This is a huge trade for both teams. I could go on and on about why it's right for both teams, but I've already laid out the plans to Andy in a PM.

In short, This gives COL a much needed ace a quality OF bat in Buller. I think SEA will inevitably have to rebuild with their lack of depth in the minors. They still have a good enough rotation to compete for the time being even without Brown.

For SEA, this stocks up the minors with young talent, gets them a solid fill-in for Brown, and of course ME!

Edit: SEA will also pay the $38M buyout price for the NTC
