COL-BAL Trade
#5
He was signed to a minor league deal, which has zero protection in trade rules in actual MLB. The purpose of sign and trade rules is to prevent valuable players that other people bid on from being signed by someone and flipped.

Truss was released, sat for 2 sims in FA, and then I was the only one to bid on him. I would have gladly have given Hokey some cash for Truss instead of Truss being released. If Truss was traded to me first there would be no problem. But because he was released and I was the only one to have interest in him at the time, now there's an issue?
