Fixing the File Switch

Either way, players having a 90 "range" in '11 suddenly having 50 range and 40 handling in '13 isn't a problem of recalculation. Especially since some players magically stayed up. If you can find what the actual reason for these bizarre drops for some and not for others I'm all ears.

Arm strength and handling were the only things altered from what I saw. Either way, it's not fair to throw up our hands and say "oh well....sorry you got fucked". If you draft bad handling from here on - that's on you. But no reason to punish teams for something beyond their control. We've already adjusted for arm strengths, we should do it for this as well.

Assists are what effects Handling on 2013. From what I see most of the players that have Handling in the 40s/50s have poor arms. A player like Dan Turkenkopf has a good arm and has seen his Handling transfer well. We adjusted for the OF arms because there was a known statistical problem. I'm not seeing where there is a known statistical problem with Handling.

Everyone go off your own roster and any player that is effected by the change, include in this post and what the ratings should be changed to. This saturday, I will have free time (no ND football). I will go into the file and correct all the individual players effected on Saturday but to do this, I would need everyone to post so I can go straight down the list for each team. I would prefer if you did it alphabetically So I can go down the line in sortable stats and just plug away.

The problem I see with this is when I was making the bug report on sports mogul I found even giving an OF 40 assists, he still had a mediocre arm. I think the best thing for us is just to ride it out and hope Clay comes up with a solution. Otherwise we could be looking at a mass editing again.
