Matteson has a NTC. Use the cash involved in the deal to help buy out. It's 1.8, since he has 1 year 9M left. The team option won't count... as that can be declined by the team. The Braves will also toss in 900k cash to pay half of this. Meaning.. SF will use 900k [of the 3M i'm sending] and We will also toss in an extra 900k to pay the NTC off.
