I'm going to hold final judgement until Jason replies, but I have to question if this really benefits the Cubs. Sure on paper it looks fair rating wise, but the Cubs are getting older with this and are giving up two great players who aren't even peaked yet. The Cubs had been appearing to be rebuilding and this seems like an abort on the plan because of an early 13-11 start that I don't think will hold up as playoff material.
