What does this accomplish for Baltimore? The team really isn't good enough to make the playoffs, so honestly dealing away a good prospect isn't a smart move. The GM is new and the co-GM hasn't shown that he'll stick around for the long haul. This deal just lets TOR and NYY stay atop the East.
