A little update here. Through looking through different files and talking with Rocky I think our issue lies more in the combination of 90s/80s players. What I mean is with the current cap we're set to have 21.1 80s-90s players per team. Given the tendency of talent to inflate above the settings it's not surprising that at the end of a calender year we're well over 25 80s/90s player per team by October.
I don't think it's as important as to which we knock down (90s or 80s overall) as long as they don't total more than about 17 per team. I think that seems to be about the threshold where the game starts having too many vitals to distribute stats appropriately. If the goal is only a 4-5 player per team drop for 90s OR 80s players I think this may be less painless than I anticipated and we def. shouldn't have to randomly hurt any franchises in the process.
