this is so Alonso will wiave the ntc. Please note I did sign mcgehee in the offseason but obvioulsy i had no intention on moving him and hes a fairly insignifcant player to begin with.

SP Paul Waldner 17 62/90 earnign pennies until arby 2012
RP Dai Shima 39 84 earning 8mil thru 2019

I do this deal because Alonso became expendable after I picked up Fitzy, and I just couldn't afford to try and spend another 10mil on a 1B/DH type. So I pick up more than I would through comp and I'm happy with that.
