I do thing the league may be able to handle this. To me, we're starting to get to the point that our talent levels are a bit too high in some regards. An expansion draft may be a nice way to help with things.
However, before I'd fully put a vote in we'll have to iron out the who's and whats. I'm also willing to take on the expansion challenge if the league needs a volunteer. We could also shuffle some ownership responsibilities at this time if the league does want to pursue that. (It's been talked about)
I think the how's all make sense - but we'd need to calculate how those parameters reflect in the budget. I don't think a 100+ budget would be reasonable, but 70-80 may be.
And, personally, I'd like to see someone other than Calgary. North Carolina? Vancouver with Colorado moving to the central? New Orleans?
