HOU-BAL Waiver Deal
#1
HOU incoming:

CF Adam Sloat (73/84) 21yrs old Arb '17
1,500,000 cash

BAL incoming:

3B Andy Marte (83) 30yrs old 6yrs/2,000,000
SP Jesse Litsch (82) 29yrs old 1yr/2,000,000

Accept, he won waiver claims neither are better than what I have so I'll pickup and save a little cash as well as pick up a prospect.

I accept, Marte being a switch hitter and a great defender will be a nice piece to add. Litsch improves depth and even gives us a starter that can be effective if we have a 2 week injury or something. Doesn't cost us much either, Sloat was developing too slow for our liking, and he wouldn't fit in with our team because of our style. He will be a bone crushing DH or a 40 HR threat for Houston.
