Well, this is a major bat. Sipes is going to be a solid upper 80s starter and we're giving up a couple high picks here for basically a year and a half of Witton. I doubt I can retain him long term, but in the short term I think he's a huge addition.

agree'd my asking price was about 2 90ish players and a bit more, w/ this I get to choose who I draft which is ok w/ me. I enjoyed witton but, w/ such a shitty budget I gotta start acting like the real true A's.

also would like to add that I hate giving to the "rich" but I always feel andy gives a solid deal for both parties. No one else really wants to pay the 1 and 2 plus I had out there.
