Agree on the 48 hour comment, the 72 hours is excessive. GM involvement is high enough that everyone at least visits the site within 48 hours.

To add on I think the 72 hour clock is counterproductive. A lot of people don't want to trade until they see how FA plays out. Since online leagues thrive more on trade activity more than FA activity, it might even be a hindrance.

The 72 hours is when threads can start closing, but over the past two seasons it seems that's when threads do close. 48 hours is a reasonable amount of time to be able to check the boards (since afterall 48 hours is a normal turnaround for a sim). The big time FAs will likely still have active bids past 48 hours. So even if a person can't check back in that amount of time all they'd likely be out on is that 79 overall bench/middle relief guy. History has shown that there's always a handful of decent bench/middle relief options available through opening day and probably even a few sims into the season.
