I really like Melville and Barbely. I think Melville will be a pretty good middle of the rotation pitcher and Barbely is a left hander for my bullpen in a couple seasons when I am looking to compete again. Willitis is an extra bat for my bench with pieces I have to move.

Hefty chunk of salary but we have an open DH spot that would love Holliday's name penciled in.

At 40M under budget and a ton of cash, it's a good gamble. Melville was going to struggle to make our rotation and we still have Wood and Eickholt coming up soon.
