We added Freeman who can DH for us, so Butler and Bell were available to trade. In Weatherford we get a guy that has some real nice potential to step into our rotation. Johnston will help the back end of our bullpen immensly. We really like some of the things we see with these three specs so the cash used to help balance the deal makes it worthwhile.

Gaub and Tankersly are roster dumps for us. We trade glut for nice pitching upside - we like this deal
