Talent Issues 2020 Edition
#31
I guess I didnt understand exactly what was going to go on. What I suggest is that we take a real agressive aproach to this. Do the volunteer program AND drop percentages down to 2.0 for 90's players. A 90 player should be rarirty not the 6 per team or more we r seeing.

Also on a side note I dont know in the player settings it says its currently at 13.8 for players with 90+ per team.

A little update here. Through looking through different files and talking with Rocky I think our issue lies more in the combination of 90s/80s players. What I mean is with the current cap we're set to have 21.1 80s-90s players per team. Given the tendency of talent to inflate above the settings it's not surprising that at the end of a calender year we're well over 25 80s/90s player per team by October.

I don't think it's as important as to which we knock down (90s or 80s overall) as long as they don't total more than about 17 per team. I think that seems to be about the threshold where the game starts having too many vitals to distribute stats appropriately. If the goal is only a 4-5 player per team drop for 90s OR 80s players I think this may be less painless than I anticipated and we def. shouldn't have to randomly hurt any franchises in the process.

The problem with this free agency is I don't think the file would show any additional changes until the sim of death when it recalculates those numbers.

What I think would be most acceptable though, is instead of opening the free agency with the file in its typical november date. Fast Forward free agency to 1/2/2021. This way the sim of death has already occured (1/1) and any changes in the calculations of the formula to the players are out there and no one is buying damaged goods.

I offered a fallback offer to Babineau - can the fallback be nullified if he is randomly dropped?
