I agree, I add again a bunch to the payroll but I add the bat that should see me through the next 3-5 years. Joey should be a solid piece and along w/ Gilchrist and the added Sheen add a whole new dynamic to the middle of the lineup for my A's. hopefully this is the boost we need offensively b/c we've lost alot of low run games.

I have 4 OF's and he is the only one who is not locked down for a few more years. Sad to see him go, but hopefully he does well in Oakland.
