I accept. I lose Derose but I think I can handle it with Leake here, and Walker was doing great but I think my pen can sustain his loss. I also like the spec I pick up along with upgrades to my offense. Walker was doing great but I just don't see enough staying power in him in the long run.

We went over this in past deals....the mods will decide the intent of the GMs.

Gordon was signed by the Padres this off-season, so the mods have a choice to make whether they believe the deal is in bad faith. I don't believe it is, as Chuck really isn't the type for an ill-faith motive, and even then he wasn't actively shopping Gordon. He moved Gordon to upgrade his pitching plus he takes Taylor as a replacement which I think doesn't violate the rule since it must be done with bad intent. If he moved Gordon for a bunch of specs, then I'd be skeptical.
