LF Adam Dunn - TYPE A
#21
Pitt, Cle, Tex, & Oak are the 4 teams with the biggest free agent offers so far this offseason

Someone remind me how this league is so biased against the small-mid market teams again

Lol. Dunn is the perfect bat for my lineup. And I have 50M in cash in reserves I can eat up if necessary.

Not complaining about it at all

Just curious how some small market guys can keep going around asking for more, more, more when the biggest spenders in FA each year are typically small-mid market teams (Haren, Dice-K & Weeks all went to mid-market teams at best)

That is true. However i've never attempted to sign hardly anyone because I normally cannot afford them. While big market teams like you could sign who ever you want each off season.

Jordan hit the nail on the head. Small markets have to be selective as where big markets every offseason could sign the best players if they needed them all the while spending 1st in medical and farm.

You need a new excuse with Equalized Expenses now

I heard today that the Boston Red Sox paid an extra 50 million into their farm to upgrade from Magic Pixie Dust to just having their own personal Jesus on staff. Epstein was a little hesitant to dabble with religion, but he thinks the pay off will be huge!

Think about it....now not only will they be able to keep players healthy and prevent future injury...but they'll be able to bless their up and coming players with the Grace of the Divine. They'll be unstoppable!

It's a real breakthrough in modern baseball. I applaud the Red Sox for doing it......Mogul was really ahead of the curve!

Or you can address a point brought up in this thread, either way

I just did. Expenses should be equalized because you shouldn't be able to have your own personal Jesus on staff like Mogul allows. Pretty simple - and it's been said multiple times on the issue.
