I have a bigger need at 2nd base. I have a few other options at 1st base, looking at a platoon of Gillaspie (L) and Mesoraco ® that should preform just as good as Morales, who has been on and off the DL since coming to the Cubs. I pick up Aybar who with that bat will slide into the biggest weakness in my lineup, the #2 slot.
