This came out of left field (or CF, depending on where Romero is playing), but it makes sense. though he's an outstanding player, his decline has made me reconsider the money we owe him. This move gets us the best rotation in baseball (on paper), bolsters our infield defense, and gives us a replacement for Romero at a fraction of the price. We will miss him, but this is necessary.
