Reasoning: Second base has been a problem with this team for a long time and I'm hoping Williams is the solution. He plays great defense and has a bat that would play extremely well at the bottom of our lineup. Bolton can hopefully relieve Norman Poe of his duties in LF (error trouble) so Poe can become the full-time DH.
I give up a lot of depth from my farm but my future rotation is kept in tact and I can always draft to replace the value I've lost.
