 receive: 1b Jim Weyer (79) age 29, 1.3 mil till arb 750k  receive: SP Ramon Maldonado (62/81) age 22, pennies Padres approve. Weyer may only be a 79 but is a 92 contact vs righties with 86 speed. He is my new leadoff hitter for a playoff run.

accept.I've always liked Weyer, but I have no real use for him. He's been on every block for the past two season. Haven't had a whole lot of interest in him. I am hoping that Meldonado recovers some of his lost potential.
