FA Threads
#1
just wondering about doing threads for each pos c,1b,2b,3b,SS,LF,CF,RF,SP and RP. I think it would make players easier too find and help with less confusion.
Dogers GM 2031- present
Twins GM from 2015-2027
2026 ALDS Winner (Twins)
2022 AL wild Card (Twins)

Agreed. This has been a pet peeve for awhile now. Or at least make it mandatory that the position, player name and starting 1st bid, must be in the topic. So for example Carlos Delgado would be: 1B Carlos Delgado 1 year 1mil.

I agree with mike, but also add ratings.

So:

1B Carlos Delgado 99/99 - 1 year 1M

yes.

I agree with the position and rating parts for sure, the starting bid I could do without but I'm crazy like that

are we talking about a thread like this where all the 1B's are bid on? I think that would be worse than what we have now. HOWEVER if you are talking about a "sub forum" like how the Depth Chart has it going, than I think it's a better idea.

To stream line it though how about P, IF and OF
Oakland A's
2015-Current
(18 seasons)
1,340-1,577
74-.44-87.66
4 AL West titles
2 ALDS Series appearance
1 WS appearance

subforums isnt a big deal to me, i'd rather have all FA in one forum. But it doesn't matter. Most important is just when posting FA and not having position and ratings.

Position - Yes
Rating - Doesn't Hurt
Opening Offer - No

If all three are in the topic title, then it'll get cluttered. I think the point of adding in this info is so that a player doesn't go unnoticed and if you like/need a player of that rating or position then you're naturally going to click on his thread to check out the opening offer anyways.

That was my point though matty, it would save having to click on him. it wouldnt be any more cluttered as it would still just be a single line.

I'll make sure the threads have full names (correctly spelled) and their position. It's not fun but 2 or 3 pages isn't to hard to search through.
