RP Mel Jackson (84) age 28, 6.5M thru 70'
3B Tom Wright (84) age 28, 5M arb
FLA gets:
C Joel Schenker (74/93) age 20, pennies
HOU 2nd rd pick (#57)
HOU accepts. adding a great piece to the back end of the 'pen and Wright is a nice depth 3B incase of injury. Gonna miss Schenker, but gotta move talent to get talent, and I have Thomas at C for the next few years, barring some major decline. Plus I should be able to get some type of comp for Jackson after the season.
