Wasn't going to resign Gravely. At best was going to get a comp pick, would rather the known commodity than unknown. Think Savage could become a top of the rotation player.

Gravely was an unlikely comp pick as well based on last season's poor production. I give up my top pick from last year but with the injuries I have I needed a live bat to help out.
