Why I do this, I have been trying to Koda from CIN forever, I really like him, and I wanted him on my team, I also really need a 1B something I have never had even in my championship run in 2015, so Suzuki fits this role.

I do give up a lot especially a stud in Uzanoff, but Joel Block will be a good SS one day, and with 2 2B I think one will be able to play SS until Block is ready.

I'm going to hold final judgement until Jason replies, but I have to question if this really benefits the Cubs. Sure on paper it looks fair rating wise, but the Cubs are getting older with this and are giving up two great players who aren't even peaked yet. The Cubs had been appearing to be rebuilding and this seems like an abort on the plan because of an early 13-11 start that I don't think will hold up as playoff material.

Accepted Here's my reasoning, I needed another OF and I have no young SS. I also get a good SP spec who is pretty much rotation ready now and another SP spec with a great GB for Wrigley field. I have a small surplus in RP's Yes losing Suzuki hurts but I have another 1B who will be ready in 2 or 3 years and I have a couple of 1B's that will be the stop gap for him.

I guess it's not that terrible, but it doesn't improve CHC at all.

I'll still approve
