Draft Tonight - GoIrish - 07-23-2011
We are going to postpone the draft till Monday night. We have had too many lists sent in for the draft. We are 2 hours from the draft and I already have 10 lists. So rather than having people deal with chance, to make things fair we will not do a sim on Sunday night and conduct the draft on Monday night.

Sorry but I personally jumped through a crapload of hoops to be here tonight and Monday I can't attend....whats wrong with Sunday?

SUN night works for me too, i work nights next week so really only SUN works for me.

Sunday or Monday is fine with me. But I don't think we should sim afterwards. I think allowing teams some time to assign their new draftees to whatever level they want is needed. If the draft is going to be Monday then I think we should post an updated file Sunday night. This will only help things go more smoothly on draft night and help avoid some confusion as to who has what picks.

He said he will conduct the draft Monday night. I'm good with Monday night. If he was fine with Sunday he would have said Sunday night.

You will just end up in the same situation if it is sunday night. When do we ever see many gms on the chat on a sunday night? You will still have at least 10 lists. More people will be here on a monday, and at most you only add 2 more lists but you'd also lose 3 from myself, corey and jamie. Not trying to say to make the draft revolve around me but just pointing out the pro's of having it monday. If its sunday night then you still have my list anyway.
