Sea/Cin - mzylinski - 05-04-2017 :cin2: Recieves: Tim Bertinshaw OF 71/82 22yr Pennies '74 :sea2: Recieves: Randy Brown SP 81/85 22yr Pennies '74 Accept, planning for life after Little. RE: Sea/Cin - theo317us - 05-04-2017 :cin2: accept RE: Sea/Cin - mattynokes - 05-04-2017 This is going to need some explanation. Brown is probably actually peaked, but has yet to hit his career window, so he's going to get a boost to 85 overall and have 84 control, 72 power, and 86 movement. That's a pretty solid bottom of the rotation pitcher. Bertinshaw is alright. He too is pre-career window, so he's actually 75/82 (and that's before we can estimate how much his peak will drop when he ages). He should be useful, but in the 4th or 5th OF variety that you platoon vs LHP. Those can be found ultra cheap. Without some good explanation, I don't like the deal at all and it'd be a veto from me. If other people knew Brown was available, you could get much better offers that Bertinshaw. RE: Sea/Cin - AndyP - 05-04-2017 Trade on hold for explanation RE: Sea/Cin - theo317us - 05-04-2017 :cin2: I have a good amount of pitching and pitching specs. Brown should be a bottom of the rotation sp but he's a lefty. I'm not a big fan of lefty pitchers. Bertinshaw is a slight gamble but he is in the 70s in almost every relevant category and will likely keep rising in those areas. He should blossom into a solid plug in at minimum. I just don't think brown will be as great as you think he will be. Maybe i'm wrong |
