MIL/KCR - RyanM84 - 08-29-2015 :mil2: Trades: 1B: Shane McGee (89) = 28 - 11.000.000 - Free Agent - 2061 :kcr2: Trades: C: Alex Stark (89) = 25 - 500k - Arbitration - 2057 SP: Humberto Aracil (88) = 24 - 500k - Arbitration - 2058 I accept this trade. I unload some payroll while getting a couple nice young pieces. Its tough dealing McGee but it was worth doing. RE: MIL/KCR - mike - 08-29-2015 Hatch is playing well at 1B but with his drop not sure how long that lasts. McGee is a good upgrade for me especially when I deal from spots of strength. RE: MIL/KCR - RyanM84 - 08-29-2015 KCR has agreed to send me the 20% needed to buyout McGees NTC RE: MIL/KCR - mike - 08-29-2015 As per the rules I believe mcgee waives his ntc since ive made the playoffs the last 2 years and have a winning record. Or i can send ryan the cash for the 20% so its permanently gone which then he'd immediately use to pay the ntc. Unless you think that goes against the spirit of the rule. Whichever way can be used for it to waived I'm good with. RE: MIL/KCR - mattynokes - 08-29-2015 McGee doesn't qualify for any of the exceptions. We're not at least at July 1 and he has more than 2 years remaining. As far as I'm concerned, KCR adding money in at this point is circumventing the rule. RE: MIL/KCR - mike - 08-29-2015 I feel it isn't circumventing the rule really because in a similar situation we allowed cash to be used in the deal otherwise colorado wouldn't of had enough cash to make the deal. http://www.firstclassmogul.com/showthread.php?tid=32981 Yes, it wasn't the whole thing but I still feel it falls under the same category. Especially given Ryan's financial state as he's predicted to almost double the loss of what he can afford. |
