Yankees Vacation/news - bh1225 - 07-16-2012

July 25 I will be going on vacation for a full week. My team will need to be fully controlled by an admin, or somebody appointed by an admin. This will go on for the remainder of the season. As I plan on taking control of the Atlanta Braves (and Piazza taking the Yankees) in the offseason. This hasn't been one-hundred percent "approved" by DJ yet. But it has been talked about and is considered. Either way, the upcoming Tuesday sim will be my final as the Yankees GM. As I will not be returning to this team in the off-season.

well, if you and piazza are fine with it, I don't see the big deal. I hope all is well everyone.

As long as people aren't swapping teams constantly I don't have a problem with it. I know when I joined (and I'm sure many others) it was take this team or go on the waiting list. The Rockies definitely wouldn't have even been in my top ten, but I certainly didn't want to go on the waiting list.

I think it's safe to say we'd just be happy to keep you around bh.

Just what piazza needs, a huge budget to make even more ridiculous fa signings. I can't be the only person against this

That is a fair point, but if he does go above and beyond what he's done in Atlanta he'll go over budget, which over the years will turn into dropping into the red, which will then lower the Yankees' payroll budget.

That's not a good thing. If anyone some how, some way, is so horrific at General Managing that they actually begin to significantly LOWER the NEW YORK YANKEES payroll, they deserve to be put on some sort of probation. Anyone can stay competitive with the Yankees, and if Piazza proves that the universe is square and someone can actually pile drive the NEW YORK YANKEES financially I'm going to really contemplate where the human race has gone wrong. I have faith Piazza can make better moves than the past with this new team.

Don't be an ass X 1.

Then

Piazza for accusing Matty and Andy even though Andy wasn't and Matty was probably on a fine line. Don't be an ass X 1.

I really should not have to baby sit.

so thats 2 million each.
