- on the condition that Baltimore still has Romero on his team

RE: BAL/FLA - arod12 - 06-13-2012

Accept - Romero can still play really well. I get him for about 12M per year and if he declines though injury i can always release him for half price.

RE: BAL/FLA - AndyP - 06-13-2012

I assume Baltimore is getting Romero as well? He's not listed.

RE: BAL/FLA - GoIrish - 06-14-2012

This to me is not acceptable, you cannot put a clause on this trade to circumvent the NTC of a player. If you want to waive and claim Romero, that is fine, but you can not make any monetary compensation for it.

RE: BAL/FLA - AndyP - 06-14-2012

I'm going to say it nice and simple:

Veto. And I will veto any deal between Baltimore and Florida so long as Romero is on Baltimore if this clear effort to circumvent a NTC is continued.

Either Romero is claimed in full via waivers or he is dealt with agent approval.

RE: BAL/FLA - mattynokes - 06-14-2012

Veto

This is clearly circumventing the NTC. It technically being allowed in the real world is a stretch. In the real world teams buyout players for 100% where as here in FCM it makes ZERO sense to do that. You have public relations to keep up. You have to answer to fans, the media, etc... We have none of that here in FCM.
