We agree. Black looks like he might turn into something but with an impending trade of Pujols, we like the power 1B.

Just bolding, for emphasis, a second post that seemed to have gotten lost in the shuffle
After talking with Chuck, we were at an impasse on a new deal. Again, I apologize for looking like a stickler, or an ass, or what have you, but if my goal was to duck the deal completely I would have just deleted this thread after the sim and prior to any other posting in it
Just citing previous cases like the recent Cin/Stl deal where it was agreed upon, but not approved before the sim and then a jump during that sim called off the deal
