Mets accept. Easy deal for me to do. Perrin is still starter quality but has been paid $17.5 million for being the 3rd middle infielder for 3 years now. I save half what is remaining on his contract and get a fringe spec.

I need someone who can transition to 2B well since Noonan only provides me withh good defense, and there was nothing i liked on FA in the offseason. All I give up is an old fringe spec and paying whats left on his contract. No big loss for me.
