RE: CIN/ATL - jps93 - 11-13-2011 What I don't understand is why is there not a vote from either of you. whether he does or doesn't shop the guy is his decision. the mod's job is to say approve or veto and why. just vote. if you veto it so be it, but i hate dilly dallying. RE: CIN/ATL - AndyP - 11-13-2011 Because I want to give him the credit that if this is the best deal he can find for his team, then he's made that decision and I can accept that. So far as I know there has been one team negotiating which is not sound strategy. Couple that with the initial awful deal he accepted and I question this deal. I worry some mods are worried about hurting feelings rather than do the right thing. I can live with approving this, but I'd rather encourage a new GM to approach a deal of this gravity with a more intelligent approach than the one that has been demonstrated so far. New GMs who model this sort of behavior are generally bad for the league. RE: CIN/ATL - jps93 - 11-13-2011 but don't you think poeple's attention would have turned to pulgarin after the last one was vetoed? at least more people would have been made aware that he was a little bit available. if no one jumped on him then that's on them, but he's been out there for almost a week now, and it's was at least a few days before piazza and i even got back to negotiating, so someone else could have swooped in during that down time and taken him...but no one did. to me, that means they missed out...but its only my 2 cents. RE: CIN/ATL - AndyP - 11-13-2011 Most GMs have no reason to look at pending trades unless they're involved or a mod. Again, not asking for much, if he fields offers and doesn't like any more than this - fine. There is still plenty of offseason left, this shouldn't be rushed and it shouldn't be too much to ask. I'll just keep referring to what I said in my previous post, I think they're sound reasons for any mod to put this on hold. RE: CIN/ATL - piazza31 - 11-14-2011 at this point i spoke with DJ, Pitsburgh, and others all have not found the talent this deal has or is offering me shit, either way i request this be resolved within 24hrs ive done all i could do but this is getting rediculious and annoying RE: CIN/ATL - AndyP - 11-14-2011 Approved RE: CIN/ATL - hokeyrules - 11-14-2011 approve |
