If expansion were to be done, they both could not go AL. 1 would have to go NL and 1 AL and 1 NL team would have to switch to the AL. That is the only way to bring proper balance.

There are 16 teams in the NL, 14 in the AL. Why would an AL team have to move to the NL?
If we do expansion, it has to be 2 teams. If you put 2 teams in the AL that is going to assure 1 division in the AL will never see a wild card or if both of the expansion teams go in the same division, they will be guaranteed a wild card.
If you put 1 expanion in the AL and 1 in the NL, it will spread it out. The problem you then have is an odd number of teams in each division. So you would need to put an NL team in the AL to even it out.
That is why Milwaukee made the jump from the AL to the NL.

Whatever same thing the point I was making was why bother moving an NL to the AL, and then how are you going to choose it.

Ask someone to volunteer? I am sure someone would step up to the plate and we can figure out something that makes sense. We would first have to get to the point of doing expansion and it does not appear we are near that point yet.

lol with 16 no's i thik we are pretty safe to say the league doesnt want it. even if the rest voted yes that would still make it a vote of 14 in favour and 16 against.
